GFR - Kick Builder Vol. 2

Mickey Nox has made a name for himself with his kicks, and Kick Builder Vol. 2 is his toolbox for exactly that. The principle is the same as in Vol. 1: the kick is broken down into layers, every layer comes as its own loop, and you build your own low end from them.

This time the Kick Drum Builder has six levels: full kick loops as the complete solution, kick gallop loops for double-time energy, mid range loops for body and bite, rumble loops for the deep layers, transient loops for attack and definition, and vox layer kick loops where raw vocal textures fuse with the kick.

Among the one-shots, industrial, hardcore, rumble and 909 are joined by two new categories: kick FX with distorted hits and tails, and bass tones as a low-end foundation for layering. As a bonus you get 113 kicks from Hard Rave Destruction Vol. 1 and Hardware Pressure Vol. 2.

The pack comes with a tutorial video in which Mickey Nox shows how he assembles the layers into a kick: Kick Builder 2 tutorial on YouTube. Built for hard techno, schranz, hardcore and industrial, ready for any DAW.
